Our response

We’ve made a number of important changes to how we work in during the Covid-19 outbreak. These changes impact everyone from our office staff and field team to our customers and vendors.

Open for business

First things first, we have been classified as an essential business by the State of North Carolina. There are a couple of reasons for this, first, because property sanitation and management is an important part of public health as well as morale. Second, because we work outside we have minimal risk to exposure.

Our field crews work individually or in pairs, and outside of work are following state guidelines for isolating. They are sanitizing their equipment throughout the day, and refraining from their regular interactions with customers (like knocking on doors). However, we are still conducting in person meetings like property tours and consultations, at a minimum recommended distance of six feet.

Our entire office staff has been working remotely since the beginning of March, and have been conducting customer support and service via email, phone, and text as per usual.

Community support

We’ve made a deliberate choice to be true to our values and serve our communities during this crisis. That’s why we’ve developed the Canopy Hope Garden as well as our free mowing and discounted plans for front line medical and health care professionals. We all want to be able to look back on this time and feel like we stood up for what we believe in, serving others.
