Most lawn care companies treat the symptoms of poor soil. This means they put down lots of nitrogen to green up your lawn, and they spray a lot of herbicides to kill the weeds. But there’s a better way. By focusing on the health of your soil, we can reduce the need for fertilizer and herbicides over time. Better for your lawn, better for the environment.
This is the most important layer for your lawn. When homes are built the land is graded, which results in the loss of the topsoil layer. Then the property is either seeded or sodded, which means the grass doesn’t have much to work with. Other lawn care companies solve for this by applying a ton of fertilizer and herbicides, at Canopy we focus on restoring your soil so your lawn can be sustainable for years to come.
We’ve partnered with One Tree Planted, which allows us to contribute to global reforestation efforts and live in alignment with our values by planting one tree in honor of every new Canopy customer that joins our family.
